Health Sciences Group, Inc., Los Angeles, CA, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets and business of Quality Botanical Ingredients, Inc. (QBI), South Plainfied, NJ. Upon completion of the acquisition, the company will increase its workforce to over 100 employees. On a pro forma basis, annualized consolidated revenues are expected to total $20 million for 2002.
